Mr. Wayne Lee has had a long career in construction leadership and safety services for High Voltage construction projects. He is very experienced in his surroundings when in the field on industrial sites. He currently serves as a contractor in the role of Construction Management Representative (CMR), after retiring from a long career with an electrical utility. In his construction leadership role, he takes his responsibilities very seriously in that dynamic, risk-filled environment. He has earned the admiration and respect of the teams that he leads.
Many people would find it very interesting that Wayne Lee (Sensei Lee) provides training as a 7th degree black belt (7th dan) Master in Traditional Shotokan Karate.
Various recreational activities involving art, exercise, music, and other areas can help contribute to physical and emotional health. Good dojos of various martial arts can provide enhancements in fitness, self-esteem, quality family time, self-discipline, coordination & balance, and self-defence. Training can offer a refreshing mental break after an intense day of work and family matters. It can help empower timid people to become reasonably assertive, regardless of size or gender. The collaborative co-ed training helps teach everyone to respect their peers.
Sensei Lee has been training & teaching for over 45 consecutive years. He has represented NL in 14 national karate championships and represented Canada in 2 world karate championships: Cairo, Egypt (1982), and Sydney, Australia (1994).
Sensei Lee’s classes are every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00 pm in the community recreation centre in Bay Bulls..
